Located in the north of Central London, Archway is a predominantly residential neighborhood. It's got a great selection of flats and some modest terraced homes, but if you're looking for more elbow room you're not going to find many detached houses here. Much of the population is made up of young couples who often move away when they start families since it can be difficult to get a bigger home here.
While there aren't a ton of amenities here, this area is seeing signs of gentification and new development and businesess are cropping up. For nature lovers, there are almost a dozen parks to enjoy, including two large parks that offer weekend activities for people of all ages.
Many of the flats are located above boutiques and businesses. You'll find shops seeling unique toys, clothing, accessories, and home goods. Restaurants and bars dot the streets as well, representing many different cultures.
Archway is bordered on the north by Crouch End, on the east by Stroud Green, on the south by Holloway, and on the west by Highgate.

The spot at which Dick Whittington is supposed to have heard the bells of London ring out- resulting in him turning back to the city and taking up the position of Mayor- is marked by this stone sculpture of his cat.
