WHAT’S LIVING IN Chalk Farm LIKE?

If you want to avoid living in a London area that's inundated with tourists, Chalk Farm is a neighborhood that seems to be wholly untouched by tourism. Tucked between the happening, upscale Belsize Park and the rowdier Camden Town, the vibe here is somewhere in the middle.

Chalk Farm has a solid dining and nightlife scene. Highly rated restaurants spanning a range of cuisines are clustered along two main roads. A good collection of pubs and bars provide a place to grab a drink after dinner. It also boasts an exciting music scene since up-and-coming musicians hone their craft here. Roundhouse is a legendary place to go hear the next David Bowie or The Doors. Shopping-wise, you'll find boutiques and art galleries as you walk down the neighbohood's streets.

In the summer this neighborhood is a great spot to relax and catch some sun and you'll be walking distance from the London Zoo, the stunning views of Primrose Hill, and Regent's Park.

Housing-wise, most of the residences are apartments, though there are a healthy number of detached homes to choose from.

Chalk Farm is bordered on the north by Belsize Park, on the east by Kentish Town, on the south by Camden Town, and on the west by Primrose Hill.
