Crofton Park is a great neighborhood for almost anyone and you’ll find all walks of life here. A lot of Londoners choose Crofton Park when they are just starting out and end up sticking around. Good schools, ample green space, and affordable prices make this a premier choice for young families.
That being said, this isn’t really the place for younger people who want to go out on the weekends. Sure, there is a nice selection of cafes and restaurants, but you won’t find anything too exciting.
The homes are simple in most of the neighborhood, although a lot of new developments are popping up. For something a little nicer, you’ll want to go toward East Dulwich where you’ll find attractive brick terraces.
Crofton Park is far enough from central London that its roads aren't snarled with traffic and parking is actually available, so it's a place where many people have cars. Even if you don’t have your car, there are a few ways to get around via public transit, though you might have to wait a little longer.
Crofton Park is bordered on the north by Brockley, on the east by Ladywell, on the south by Catford, and on the west by Honor Oak Park.
