  WHAT’S LIVING IN Highbury LIKE?

Highbury is an upper class, urban neighborhood in central London that is well connected to the rest of the city by public transportation. Most of the residents here are young professionals, with quite a few younger families rounding out the population. The population is getting older, however, as these people are sticking around much longer than they used to. Many are extremely successful and make a good deal of money.

Most of the residences are apartments, which tend to be on the more expensive side. You won’t find very many single-family homes here on the market as they tend to be passed down from generation to generation.

Highbury has a healthy bar and restaurant scene. Many up-and-coming chefs live in this area so you can expect to eat extremely well. As far as shopping options, there aren’t as many stores as other neighborhoods, but there are still some great boutiques and shops here.

Highbury Fields park offers 29 acres (12 hectares) of green space, tennis courts, and a pool.

Highbury is bordered on the north by Finsbury Park, on the east by Stoke Newington, on the south by Canonbury, and on the west by Holloway.
