Honor Oak is one of London's hidden secrets. There is a lot going on in this neighborhood, but since it's not on any "up-and-coming" lists you won't find many outsiders here. Nonetheless, it has a lot of the charm that people seek out when moving to this area. You’re break a sweat walking up all hills here, but they are lined with beautiful Victorian and Edwardian homes. This has made it a desireable area for families.

There are a bunch of little specialty shops, some great cafes, and amazing restaurants that line the main street. You’ll find a lot of different cuisines here, including Caribbean, French, Italian, and more.

If there isn’t enough for you to do, the public transportation system that runs through Honor Oak is solid so you can get to surrounding areas in a short amount of time.

There is a lack of secondary schooling in Honor Oak, but the adjacent neighborhoods do have options.

Honor Oak is bordered on the north by Nunhead and Brockley, on the east by Crofton Park, on the south by Forest Hill, and on the west by East Dulwich.
