Old Oak Common has a high violent crime rate and a high property crime rate for London.
Old Oak Common is a pretty ramshackle part of town; there isn’t too much going on and the people who live here are often trying to find a way out. It is home to a lot of students and artists who can’t afford to live anywhere else.
Still, there is hope that a new rejuvenation project will bring more people, businesses, and schooling into the area. There is even a chance that there will be a football stadium soon.
Old Oak Common is bordered on the north by Harlesden, on the east by North Kensington, on the south by White City, and on the west by North Acton.
