St Pancras is perhaps most defined by the architecturally stunning, historic train station within its borders. From here you can catch the Eurostar train to France or regional trains to areas outside London. Because of its role as a transit hub most of the people here are travellers or commuters just passing through.

For those who do live here, you're able to get around quite easily and there are some good dining and drinking options available (including Europe's longest champagne bar).

The neighborhood has been on a bit of an upswing lately. The streets have been cleaned up and London’s most promising designers and artistic minds have moved into this area after graduating from the local universities. With that upswing has come an uptick in home prices. However, it's still affordable compared to the neighborhoods that surround it.

St. Pancras is bordered on the north by Kings Cross, on the east by Finsbury, on the south by Bloomsbury, and on the west by Fitzrovia.
