Beverly Grove has an above average violent crime rate and a high property crime rate for Los Angeles.
The neighborhood of Beverly Grove is situated around an upscale outdoor mall called The Grove, so shopping and dining are always nearby in this community. One of it's better known landmarks is the Farmer's Market, started in the 1930s, where you can find fresh meat and produce. It's also home to a large television studio.
There are a number of big apartment complexes just off of the main avenues. On its quieter streets you'll find plenty of small apartment buildings as well as large, single-family houses.
Beverly Grove is bordered on the west by Beverly Hills and Beverlywood, on the north by West Hollywood, on the east by Fairfax and Mid-Wilshire, and on the south by Carthay.

Located right next to The Grove, the farmers market dates back to 1934. These days you'll find tasty restaurants side by side with stands selling fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and ice cream.
Established in 1995, Joan's on Third has become a neighborhood institution. Try the short rib sandwich.
