If you like the neighborhood featured in the television series "Modern Family", then you'll like Cheviot Hills, where the real-life house of the Dunphys is located. This is an affluent neighborhood with a suburban vibe and is popular with families and professionals. Picture tree-lined streets with manicured lawns and attractive homes.
You won't find much to do inside its borders but restaurants and nightlife can be found nearby in Beverly Hills or Culver City. There is a much-loved recreation center with a playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamond, and volleyball courts.
An excellent elementary school is located here as well.
Cheviot Hills is bordered on the west by Rancho Park, on the north by West Los Angeles and Century City, on the east by Beverlywood and Pico-Robertson, and on the south by Palms.
