WHAT’S LIVING IN La Mirada LIKE?

La Mirada is a suburban neighborhood that earns high marks for livability: excellent schools, good restaurants, a number of entertainment options, and nice homes.

You'll find quiet residential streets lined with single-family homes. Four excellent elementary schools make this a popular destination for families.

The La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts is a highly respected theatre that hosts plays and musicals throughout the year. When you want to get outside, the La Mirada Regional Park offers 76 acres (31 hectares) of athletic fields, a swimming pool, a fishing lake, walking and running paths, and playgrounds.

La Mirada is bordered on the north by South Whittier and East La Mirada, on the east by Fullerton, on the south by Buena Park, and on the west by Cerritos and Santa Fe Springs.
