Perched on the hills with spectacular views of downtown Los Angeles (hence the name), View Park-Windsor Hills is an affluent, primarily African-American community home to beautiful Spanish Colonial and Mediterranean-style houses, tall palm trees, and a nice breeze.

There isn't much going on here off the main drag (Slauson Avenue), but if you're looking for a safe, quiet neighborhood for your family this is a great option. If you're lucky you'll get one of those homes with the million dollar views, just expect to pay a lot of money for it.

Though View Park isn't very exciting, there are plenty of dining, shopping, and entertainment options available in adjacent neighborhoods. For example, you'll be a short drive from Culver City and Marina del Rey. Closer to home you've got the Crenshaw Mall.

View Park-Windsor Hills is bordered on the north by Baldwin Hills, on the east and south by Hyde Park, and on the west by Ladera Heights.
