Arbor Heights has a below average violent crime rate and a low property crime rate for Seattle.
Arbor Heights is an affordable, quiet neighborhood in the southwest corner of West Seattle. This is an almost exclusively residential area of single-family homes, many of which have amazing views of Puget Sound.
Most of its working residents commute into Downtown Seattle and other commercial pockets of the city, so the area is pretty emptied out on weekdays. As a result, there's not much going on here, which means you'll have to head elsewhere for dining and shopping. Fortunately, more happening neighborhoods like Fauntleroy and Roxhill are nearby.
For active children, the neighborhood is home to the Arbor Heights Swim and Tennis Club, which offers competitive swimming, diving, tennis, and water polo to members.
Arbor Heights is bordered on the west and north by Fauntleroy, on the east by White Center, and on the south by Puget Sound.
