WHAT’S LIVING IN Baulkham Hills LIKE?

Baulkham Hills is a much loved residential suburb in Sydney's North West. "Peaceful", "beautiful", and "safe" are three words residents often use to describe the neighborhood. Homes here are large, generally two-stories tall, and sit on big properties on leafy streets. There's plenty of real estate for kids to run around or to put in a pool. This is a relatively diverse suburb; while the majority of residents were born in Australia there is a large population from Asia. Thanks to the big homes and having some of the best primary and secondary schools in the state it primarily attracts families.

The suburb has several dozen restaurants clustered around two commercial areas ranging from Persian to Italian to Thai to Sushi. There are even a couple bars and a lawn bowling club when you're in need of a pint or a cocktail.

The main shopping center here is Stockland Baulkham Hills, which has several supermarkets, banks, clothing stores, salons, medical services, restaurants, and more. You have additional shopping options in the adjacent suburb of Castle Hill.

A number of parks are located around the suburb, some of which have athletic fields and tennis courts. One of the parks, Crestwood Reserve, has a skate park, off-leash area for dogs, basketball court, walking tracks, and BBQ.

Baulkham Hills is bordered on the north by Kellyville and Castle Hill, on the east by West Pennant Hills, on the south by Winston Hills, and on the west by Seven Hills and Bella Vista.
