Bellevue Hill has a low violent crime rate and a low property crime rate for Sydney.
Bellevue Hill is a quiet, affluent suburb about six kilometers east of the CBD. As the name would suggest, this neighborhood occupies a hill sloping down towards the harbour, providing amazing views to many of its residents. The homes here, ranging from historic mansions to sleek modern architecturals, sit on larger properties than you'll find closer to the city.
Bellevue Hill has some dining options, but for shopping, a more diverse selection of restaurants, and nightlife you'll need to head to neighboring Bondi Junction or Rose Bay.
The Cooper Park steps are a great workout or you can just walk its trails.
Its location includes some of the best private schools in Sydney, making it popular with families. Nearly a quarter of the population here is Jewish.
Bellevue Hill is bordered on the north by Point Piper and Rose Bay, on the east by North Bondi, on the south by Bondi Beach and Bondi Junction, and on the west by Double Bay and Woollahra.
