Glenwood is a tidy, relatively new residential suburb in Sydney's Outer West. Though property sizes here are a bit smaller than in neighboring 'burbs like Kings Langley, the houses tend to be large, two-stories tall, and recently built. The streets are clean and quiet.

The emphasis is definitely on "quiet" here: there's not much excitement around, but that's just fine with Glenwood's residents. There is a shopping plaza with a grocery store, chemist, fast food restaurants, and some other businesses so your basic needs are covered. But for more dining options and cultural activities you'll need to head elsewhere.

When you (or the kids) need some exercise there are a number of parks and athletic fields dotted around the suburb. Glenwood is also home to excellent public primary and secondary schools, as well as a highly rated private primary school.

As you'd suspect of a mellow suburb with great homes, schooling, and parks Glenwood primarily attracts families.

The suburb offers easy access to major motorways and is served by several bus lines.

Glenwood is bordered on the north by Stanhope Gardens, on the east by Kellyville and Bella Vista, on the south by Kings Langley, and on the west by Acacia Gardens and Parklea.
