Greenwich is a desirable, upscale suburb in the Lower North Shore region of Sydney. This is a quiet, residential community with older families, professionals, and retirees. Residents rave about how green it is, the incredible views of water it offers, and the friendly people.
The neighborhood sports a number of parks, an enclosed beach, a boat launch and sailing clubs, and two schools catering to Kindergarten through Year 6 students.
There's no nightlife to speak of here, which is perfectly okay with the locals. Greenwich does have a couple restaurants and coffee shops and basics like a grocery store.
Greenwich is bordered on the north by Artarmon and St Leonards, on the east by Wollstonecraft and Gore Cove, on the south by the Parramatta River, and on the west by Lane Cove River, Northwood, and Lane Cove.
