Kurraba Point has a low violent crime rate and a low property crime rate for Sydney.
Kurraba Point is a small, affluent suburb that juts out into the Sydney Harbour in the city's Lower North Shore region. This is a quiet, residential area of nice single-family homes and a few apartment buildings.
There are no shopping or dining options to speak of in this neighborhood. It does have a small park, Kurraba Point Reserve, that overlooks the water and has partial views of the Opera House and Sydney Harbour Bridge. It's a favorite spot for locals to catch the city's grand New Year's Eve fireworks show.
Kurraba Point is bordered on the north by Neutral Bay (neighborhood), on the east and south by Sydney Harbour, and on the west by Neutral Bay (body of water).
