McMahons Point, located in Sydney's Lower North Shore, is a residential neighborhood jutting out into Sydney Harbour. This is a medium density area, full of low- and midrise apartment buildings as well as a few single-family homes and terraced rowhouses. Its position on a hill sloping down to the waterfront affords many of this dwellings with spectacular views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and city skyline.

McMahons Point is bordered on the north by North Sydney, on the east by Lavender Bay, on the south by Sydney Harbour, and on the west by Berrys Bay.
