Neutral Bay has a low violent crime rate and a low property crime rate for Sydney.
Neutral Bay is a hilly, affluent suburb in Sydney's Lower North Shore. This is a popular area with young professionals and families alike thanks to the mix of quiet, leafy residential streets and hip restaurants and bars. Housing stock here consists mostly of lowrise apartment buildings and some single-family homes as well.
Ferry service at the neighborhood's wharf can whish you into the CBD pretty quickly. There are also a couple restaurants located here, though most are centered around the main thoroughfare, Military Road. This is also where you'll find shopping and day-to-day necessities like a grocery store and chemist.
Neutral Bay is bordered on the north by Cremorne, on the east by Cremorne and Kurraba Point, on the south by Neutral Bay (body of water), and on the west by North Sydney and Cammeray.
