Roseville is a quiet, leafy suburb in Sydney's Upper North Shore that is highly desirable thanks to the great amenities found here. There is a diverse range of tasty restaurants, mostly clustered around the local train station. You'll also find basic shops like a news agent, pharmacy, and a grocery store. And the suburb is home to the historic art deco Roseville Cinema, a charming building that is still active today playing indie movies. For more cultural activities you just have to head to the adjacent suburb of Chatswood, which is a shopping and dining hub.

There are also about a half dozen little parks dotted around the neighborhood, many featuring playgrounds. For adults looking for some recreation Roseville has its own golf club. For those with children, Roseville is home to an excellent public primary school and a highly rated Anglican girls' school.

Charming Federation and California bungalow-style homes are in abundant supply here. Because of the quiet streets and great amenities (and the prices), Roseville tends to attract established families – you won't find many first-time home buyers here. And because people who move here usually stick around, these properties don't come on the market often. For those who don't need the space of a house or have the budget for one, there are an increasing number of apartments available.

The train will get you into the CBD in just about half an hour. If you drive to work you can expect to spend close to an hour in traffic on the Pacific Highway.

Roseville is bordered on the north by Lindfield and East Lindfield, on the east by Roseville Chase and Castle Cove, on the south by Chatswood, and on the west by Lindfield.
