Rushcutters Bay is a small residential area in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Nearly all housing stock consists of flats, units, or apartments, though they range from studios to luxury pads. Rental units are common here, making the neighborhood popular with young professionals.
You can start your day exercising with a view of Rushcutter Bay at the park of the same name or at the adjacent Reg Bartley Oval sports field and tennis center. While you won't find much dining here you're just a few minutes walk to bustling Potts Point and Darlinghurst.
This suburb is also home to the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. This club was established in 1944 and is host to the famous annual Sydney-to-Hobart race.
Rushcutters Bay is bordered on the north by Elizabeth Bay, on the east by Darling Point, on the south by Darlinghurst, and on the west by Potts Point.
