  WHAT’S LIVING IN Farringdon LIKE?

Farringdon is one of the most up-and-coming neighborhoods in all of London. Tons of pubs, coffee shops, restaurants, and nightclubs make this one of the best places to move for younger people who are just getting a start in the city.

If you are considering buying a home, you can expect to pay more than in many other London neighborhoods thanks to its coveted location. But if you're renting you'll find prices are often cheaper than other areas. And there are lots of options to rent since many warehouse buildings have been converted to flats. That being said, as more and more people move here home prices are increasing.

As this neighborhood gets increasingly popular, restaurants and bars are proliferating. There are some 200+ dining options here, ranging from cheap Thai take-out to upscale Argentine steakhouses. A couple dozen pubs and a number of wine bars, cocktail bars, and clubs provide late-night diversion. A couple spots offer live music.

You find clothing boutiques, housewares, gift shops, furniture stores, and grocers on Farringdon's streets. The neighborhood has its own tube station on three rail lines, which makes getting elsewhere in the city a quick exercise.

Farringdon is bordered on the north by Clerkenwell, on the east and south by the City, and on the west by Holborn.
