Briar Hill is a charming, peaceful suburb about 18 kilometers northeast from the Melbourne CBD. This quiet pocket of suburbia is filled with families and professionals.
The streets of this neighborhood are lined with Edwardian- and Victorian-era homes and semi-detached townhouses. While home prices here are relatively affordable, renters won't find many options so will need to keep a close watch on vacancies to enjoy a slice of this suburban pie.
A couple shopping plazas in adjacent neighborhoods provide hair salons, restaurants, cafes, and various business services to locals, but you won't find much within Briar Hill itself. There are a couple tiny parks around, but much bigger parks are within walking distance.
Briar Hill is bordered on the west and north by Greensborough, on the east by Eltham North, and on the south by Montmorency.
