Brookvale has a low violent crime rate and an above average property crime rate for Sydney.
Brookvale is a commercial, industrial, and residential suburb in Sydney's Northern Beaches region. Its quieter streets have a range of homes types, from single-family houses of varying sizes to lowrise apartment buildings. But most of its real estate is devoted to office space and industry — this is the main business hub in the area. Surrounding neighborhoods provide more of a typical suburban vibe.
There are a few big attractions that bring people here, however. The sprawling Warringah Mall has more than 270 stores and a number of casual dining options. And a professional Rugby League team, the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, plays at the 23,000 person capacity sports oval in Brookvale. You'll also be spoiled with choices for all the great beaches close by.
Brookvale is bordered on the north by Narraweena and Dee Why, on the east by Curl Curl and North Curl Curl, on the south by North Manly and Allambie Heights, and on the west by Allambie Heights.
