Lalor Park has a low violent crime rate and a low property crime rate for Sydney.
Lalor Park is a leafy suburb in Sydney's North West region where your experience is highly dependent on which street you live on. One the one hand, it's attracted increasing attention from young families and property investors thanks to its affordability, which is quickly disappearing as prices rise. The signs of gentrification are clear: renovations of existing homes and brand new large homes are common sights.
On the other hand, Lalor Park is still home to a large amount of government housing commissions and rundown streets where drug dealing and abuse are rampant.
You're not going to find much culture here either: there are a handful of fast food restaurants and some chemists. However, Lalor Park is neighbors with two highly desirable suburbs and as Sydney property as a whole continues to get more expensive you can bet on gentrification winning out here. Until then you'll need to pick your street wisely.
Lalor Park is bordered on the north by Kings Langley, on the east and south by Seven Hills, and on the west by Blacktown.
