Rosehill has a low violent crime rate and a below average property crime rate for Sydney.
Located in Sydney's West, Rosehill is a suburb of a few thousand people. Most of the real estate is zoned industrial and commercial, but in the western quarter of this neighborhood are wide, quiet streets with single-family homes and small apartment buildings. Overall, this is an attractive section of Rosehill and has made this a popular spot for families.
There's not much in the way of shopping or dining here, but you do have basics like a grocery store and some fast food restaurants and you are very close the bustling hub of Parramatta.
It is home to the Rosehill Gardens Racecourse which is one of two premier sites in Sydney hosting thoroughbred races. Your other leisure option is the neighborhood lawn bowling club.
Rosehill boasts its own train station, making the commute into Sydney's Central Station about a 35 minute trip.
Rosehill is bordered on the north by Camellia, on the east by Silverwater, on the south by Auburn and Clyde, and on the west by Harris Park and Parramatta.
