Millwall has an average violent crime rate and an average property crime rate for London.
A small neighborhood located on the Isle of Dogs, Millwall is a mostly residential area. It used to house the people who worked in the now defunct shipyard, so the homes that are here are smaller and very utilitarian – you won’t find anything grand or outlandish here. A lot of the homes you will find here are apartments that could go for a bit of a remodelling.
The area is likely going to be one of the next parts of town that gets some new apartment buildings, so be on the lookout for new construction.
You won't find much to do within Millwall but you're walking distance to all that Canary Wharf has to offer: restaurants, bars, and cinema.
Note that there is a very passionate group of football fans who support the Millwall Football Club, known as the Bushwackers. They keep their antics to games, however.
Millwall is bordered on the north by Canary Wharf, on the east by Cubitt Town, and on the south and west by the Thames.
