WHAT’S LIVING IN Wedgwood LIKE?
It's hard to believe a neighborhood would be named after some plates, but that's exactly what happened here: the wife of the original landowner had a set of Wedgwood china she loved and the neighborhood's name was born.
This is a mellow place with modest, well-kept homes and an active community. It has a couple streets with your standard assortment of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and basic services like a dry cleaner. This is a great place for families given its many schools, including one of its leading preparatory schools.
Wedgwood is bordered on the north by Lake City, on the east by View Ridge, on the south by Bryant and Ravenna, and on the west by Maple Leaf.

Downtown Seattle: 7.3 miles / 20-40 minutes by car / 40 minutes by transit
Bellevue: 10.1 miles / 25-50 minutes by car / 60 minutes by transit
Redmond: 18.2 miles / 30-50 minutes by car / 50-60 minutes by transit
