Extremely international and filled with friendly people, Fulham is a firmly upmarket neighborhood located in Southwest London. The area is completely packed with bars, shops, restaurants, and amenities that keep residents around.
Housing here is also upscale. You'll find Victorian and Edwardian homes on quiet streets, luxury apartments along the river, and converted flats. Many of the homes are spacious and have private yards.
The neighborhood is a haven for City professionals, young couples, and families. Once a family moves in they typically stay around thanks to the great lifestyle and some of the best schools in the city. There are large Italian and French populations here as well.
Fulham is a foodie haven thanks to a great selection of restaurants, from British classics like fish and chips as well as places setting culinary trends. Fulham boasts a number of award winning restaurants, including the Michelin-starred gastropub The Harwood Arms. Rooftop and riverside hangouts are in abundant supply, ensuring great views of the city and the Thames.
For sports fans, there are few better places to live. The Fulham Football Club is based here and plays at the aptly named Craven Cottage, its home stadium since 1896.
When it comes to amenities, Fulham has it all: supermarkets, farmers’ markets, shops, boutiques, gyms, salons, parks, libraries, and antique stores. The upscale Hurlingham Club is a private club with a fitness center, sports facilities, a playground, and dining options.
Bishop’s Park is a big attraction for people who live here. Situated right on the Thames, it's a beautiful setting with walking paths, picnic areas, gardens, tennis courts, and athletic fields.
Fulham is bordered on the north by West Kensington, on the east by West Brompton, and on the south and west by the River Thames.
