Atwater Village is an extremely diverse neighborhood northeast of downtown Los Angeles. Although this area is 50% Latino the other 50% has a nice blend of Whites, Blacks and Asians. As its neighbors Los Feliz and Silver Lake become more expensive, it's seeing an influx of young professionals and families. This neighborhood is now known as the millennial magnet due to its close proximity to boutiques, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, theaters and high walkability.
For nature lovers, Atwater is next door to the sprawling Griffith Park where you can spend days hiking its 4,000 acrs, star gaze at the Griffith Observatory, or take your kids to the LA Zoo. This neighborhood has the mountains to the north and the Los Angeles River to the south.
