Approximately 18 kilometers east of Melbourne is the little suburb of Nunawading. Tree-lined streets and renovated 1950s homes dominate the landscape.
Residents settle down here for the good primary schools, parks, and abundant sports activities. Swimming is a major pastime for residents, many of whom attend the Nunawading Swimming Club, the biggest swimming club in the Southern Hemisphere.
The suburb's main shopping strips are along Whitehorse Road, nicknamed the Mega Mile, which has a plethora of shops, restaurants, car dealerships, boutiques, and other businesses.
Nunawading has convenient train transportation and access to the Eastern Freeway.
There is almost no rental market in Nunawading, but homebuyers do enjoy affordable homes on large lots. The suburb is quiet, but a good mix of families and singles live in the area. If you are searching for a lovely suburb for your family to grow that is only a short trip to the CBD, Nunawading may be the next place you call home.
