Cambridge Heath has a high violent crime rate and a high property crime rate for London.
Located in East London, Cambridge Heath is a little more run down than the areas surrounding it, though it is slowly starting to see the beginnings of gentrification.
Many of the buildings here have been turned into apartments and flats. These apartments are affordable though they are somewhat limited in size and amenities. Still, with the Cambridge Heath Station right in your backyard, you can easily get to other parts of the city.
This is definitely not the place most people will want to live forever, but it is a good stepping stone to living in London if you want to save a little bit of money.
Cambridge Heath is bordered on the north by South Hackney, on the east and south by Bethnal Green, and on the west by Haggerston.
